Here’s another cheap and cheerful nail polish I found at the local store yesterday – Maybelline Colorama 22 in Jelly Bean. It is a pretty almost metallic greenish/blueish shade. This color reminds me of mermaids for some reason :)
It’s been a while since I painted my nails with a Colorama nail polish, I completely forgot their quality and formulas. OPI and Rimmel spoiled me with their flat comfortable brushes, and the Colorama’s brush isn’t that good – it’s thick and not rounded at the end.
Anyway, application was fairly good, in the pics above and below you can see Jelly Bean in 3 coats:
Jelly Bean is a bit dull and dries to a satin finish. It has lots of shimmer in it that creates an eye-catching teal foil effect… at least it caught my eye :)
Btw, have you noticed two ancient 1.44 MB diskettes I’m holding? Yes, here in Russia they still use them! *joking*
I was looking for something colorful to take pics of Jelly Bean, and I saw a box full of floppy disks in the closet, next to another box with old pentium processors and dismantled hard drive disks %) Dennis is fond of keeping/collecting various computer related stuff, I bet – somewhere in the depths of the closet he can even find a drive to read these diskettes.
That’s how we live: computer parts and nail polishes all over the place :))
