Day 10: GRADIENT nails

Today is the 10th day of the Challenge and it’s time for gradient nails. I did this mani using 3 nail polishes and scotch tape. Here’s the result:

Purple Gradient Nails Design

This purple version of gradient nails was very easy to do. I think it looks really cheerful and that’s exactly what I need when it’s so gloomy and snowy outside.

These are the polishes I used:

  • Orly Basket Case (bright pink cream) – 3 thin coats
  • Orly Hot Stuff (fuchsia cream) – 1 coat
  • OPI Pamplona Purple (amazing purple cream) – 1 coat
  • Clear top coat to even it all out

I really liked Basket Case and Hot Stuff shades and formulas, each of these two polishes deserves a post for its own. I’m going to do their swatches in the nearest future :)

Well, this is the end of the 1st part of the Challenge – COLORS, and after a couple of days I’m going to continue this little nail polish adventure and move on to the 2nd part called “PATTERNS” :)

Thanks for reading and see you soon!
