#21 Mauve Léger by Yves Rocher
November 8th, 2011 | Posted by in Nail Polish SwatchesThis is my first nail polish by Yves Rocher. The shade is called Mauve Leger and it’s #21 in Couleurs Nature collection. The promo text:
Discover the new Intense nail lacquer Couleurs Nature. Their high concentration of pigments enhances the colour result for smooth, richly coloured, perfectly lacquered nails!
The official picture of its bottle, brush and color:

On the pic Yves Rocher Mauve Leger is a mauve nail polish with a silver shimmer, which is not exactly the case with my version of #21 Mauve Leger. Mine is with a pink/violet microshimmer. The shimmer is barely visible in the daytime or in bad weather, and the polish looks plain lilac without good lighting (sun lights or artificial) or when viewed from a distance.
Autumn sunlight:

The polish appears to be big3free, and easy to apply. I think it is wearable starting from 1 coat, but in order to get vivid color I had to apply 3 layers. I didn’t like the Yves Rocher brush – too thin for me (my favorite ones are OPI and Rimmel).

One more thing that I couldn’t help but notice: Yves Rocher nail polishes are sold in very small bottles. It’s only 5,5 ml (0,19 fl.oz) against Chanel’s 13 ml, OPI’s standard 15 ml or Orly’s 18 ml. Taking into account its quantity / price, Yves Rocher polish turns out to be quite expensive :/
